First Communion
2017 First Communion
May 28, 2017, Ascension Sunday
Homily by Father Joseph Pearce, CO Father tells us about the apostles came up on the mountain as Jesus asked them to, and they worshipped, but doubted. He tells us that it is understandable that we too may have doubts at times. Despite that God still accepts us as we were, even with our doubts. Father even shared his own personal testimony of him doubting if God even listened to him. Yet God did not strike him down, and he even became one of His priests. He tells us that God never stops loving us.
2017 First Communion
May 21, 2017, Sixth Sunday of Easter
Homily by Father Joseph Pearce, CO Father focused on the children and the great and wonderful thing they were about to do for the first time. He told them they were being "sanctified", or made holy by their receiving Holy Communion. He spoke about the sacrament of reconciliation, and about our conscience. He told us the other way of being made holy is by loving one another.

Baptism of Emily Grace Starr
March 31, 2019 The 4th Sunday of Lent
Homily by Deacon Dr. Terrence R. Chisolm Deacon told us that gifts from God are not only intended to make us feel fulfilled, appreciated, loved, and sometimes just noticed for the good that we have done in our lives, but these gifts from God are gifts that sustain us for everlasting life. This is why we can never beat God's gifts. For many of us our daily lives are centered on obtaining to happiness that God gives us.
Baptism of Aisley Hergott
January 27, 2019 The 3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time
Homily by Rev. Dr. Joseph Pearce, C.O., Pastor Father told us about how we often interchange words that mean close to the same thing. He told us the "joy" and "happiness" are often used interchangeably. However, they don't mean the same thing. Happiness is a feeling, an emotion. It's here one moment and gone the next. We can never really hold on to it. Joy, on the other hand is not a feeling. It is a spiritual gift. It's not an emotion, it's a grace. It's not temporary, it's permanent. It's given to us at baptism. That is why we are called to "rejoice in the Lord", and that is our strength.
Baptism of Kamia Canty
August 13, 2017, Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Homily by Father Joseph Pearce, CO
Father tells us we often can see God in the extraordinary events and happenings of the day, but we fail to see Him in the ordinary events of the day. Elijah sees God not in the fire, or the violent wind, or the earthquake, but saw him in the simple, gentle quiet sound. Also, Jesus came not appearing as a royal king, but a simple, ordinary man. The extra-ordinary was hidden in Him, which most failed to see. Baptism of Jonathan and Elizabeth Gabanyic
February 5, 2017, Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Homily by Deacon Dr. Terrence R. Chisolm Deacon Terrence asked if we are aware of our Christian dignity and responsibility as the salt of the earth, and the light to the world. We must be aware that salt and light are powerful images of God's love that must be brought out and showed to the world.
