Bishop Closes All Churches in Diocese

Pastor's Message to the St. Mary Church on March 30, 2020 regarding this COVID-19 crisis:

Due to health concerns regarding COVID-19 (Corona Virus) and for the safety of the people, Bishop Robert Guglielmone has officially closed all churches in the Diocese of Charleston, which means all of South Carolina. Therefore, there will be no Masses, daily or on Sunday, no Stations of the Cross, public Rosaries, or other church gatherings. All are canceled until further notice.

Update:
St. Mary Catholic Church will re-open for Mass on Sunday, May 17, 2020. Please see the following for the restrictions and guidelines for the limited reopening by clicking here. The Friday daily Mass will not start until Friday, May 22, 2020.

If you are unable to attend Mass because of being ill or quarantined, remember we have videos of our St. Mary Masses available by Sunday evening, but it does not include the full Mass. Here is a list of other sites that have live viewing of Masses:

St. Mary will be broadcasting live on Facebook at 10:00 am on Sundays. Later that evening, the taped version will be available in our Videos page. See the live streaming on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/stmaryrhsc/.

The Diocese of Charleston will be livestreaming from the Chapel of the Holy Family. Seminarians who are now in Charleston will participate in the liturgies. The schedule of daily and weekend Masses and other devotions is as follows:

    Stations of the cross, Fridays at 3 pm.
    Sunday Mass with Bishop Robert E. Guglielmone at 11 am (English) and 12:30 pm (Espaniol).
