Father told us about the 1st reading about Israel and Judah, the 2 kingdoms of Israel. It talks about how the neighbors had corrupted them, worshiping false gods, and wanted to do the same thing. So Isaiah gives the image of the vineyard, which is really about the nation of Israel, God had invested in them, called them His own people, but they rejected Him. God allows it to go to waste because they did not follow His way. Are we listening to God's voice, or listening to the world?
