Deacon told us that the 1st reading gives us a look at our own lives, and can see the celebration for some of the events of our lives. Some people are not riding on a donkey of celebration, but on a donkey of pride. However, we too can share in the same resurrection by living a life of simplicity and peace to those around us. Jesus' way of peace and humility brings peace.
