February 23, 2020 The 7th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Father spoke about the 1st reading, about the Levitical law that said "an eye for an eye", but Jesus said no to that, and that "we are to turn the other cheek", and to "love your enemy". He spoke of being holy as the Father is holy. He mentioned how many might where many sacramentals, but they are only outward signs, but what counts is the love they have for others. He spoke about people not liking themselves, and how so many are into themselves. Not until we "forget about ourselves", and concern ourselves with others, we will actually start to like ourselves.
