Deacon told us that our reading are directed towards the end of time. We are called to be good and faithful witnesses to Him. The prophets said to look to the coming of the Lord. In the Gospel, Jesus cautions us to not be deceived. Jesus paints a picture of the end of time, and to be prepared for conflict. We need to be ready for our Lord now.
