Father spoke about the scripture where if we choose to deny Jesus, we are choosing not to spend eternity with Him, and He will honor that. But even if we are unfaithful to Him, He remains faithful to us. He spoke of a woman who approached him and read in an obituary where the deceased had a Mass of Christian burial that was at St. Mary. She said it was sad, thinking that after all the wrong they had done, they could make it into heaven. Father pointed out that shows the mercy of Jesus. Even if we have been unfaithful, but at the end we call upon God, He will still forgive us, if we only ask Him to. It speaks not that we are wonderful, but that Christ is wonderful.
