Homily by Rev. Dr. Joseph Pearce, C.O., Pastor

Father mentioned about the short statement from St. Paul in the letter to the Hebrews, "Behold, I have come to do your will, O God." This short statement sums up the ministry and life of Jesus. It is also a challenge to His disciples and to us. We to are to do the will of God. We pray that most every day in the Lord's Prayer. Do we mean it? Jesus embraces the will of the Father, even in the Garden of Gethsemane, where He accepted the most cruel of deaths, death on a cross.
