Today's Gospel tells us that Jesus is the cornerstone. Have we inserted Jesus as the cornerstone of our life? That is what enables us to resist the temptations of the world, just as the cornerstone of a building, so that the building will be strong and be able to resist wind storms, rain, and even earth quakes. We have everything we need to be holy. So if we do, why is there so much hatred and violence in the world? It has to be because we don't use those graces we have been given.
