Deacon told us that no one is immune to pain and suffering. So much is backwards: up is down, right is wrong, wrong is right. If you are not anchored by strong truth, you can find living in a daze of confusion. Even Job from our first reading had great pain and suffering, even though he was a faithful servant of God. He still trusted in God, but he still reached a point when he called out to God, doing what so many of us may do, asking God, "Why me? Why am I having so much pain and suffering." In the Gospel, many people are coming to Jesus for Him to relieve their pain and suffering.
