January 14, 2018 2nd Sunday of Ordinary Time

Father tells us in regards to Eli working with Samuel, and helping him to understand the Lord. Just as Samuel at first didn't understand that the Lord was calling him. Do we recognize when God is speaking to us? Are we familiar with him? The 2nd reading tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Father said that God calls us every day, but do we hear Him, or have we blocked him out with all of our distractions. God whispers our name, but do we hear Him? Do we allow ourselves to have silent time so that we can hear Him?
