August 6, 2017, The Transfiguration of the Lord

Father told us that 72 years ago today, Transfiguration Sunday of 1945, a man pressed a trigger that would transfigure the course of world events, forever, irrevocably. It was the same feast we celebrate today. He was speaking of the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. President Truman ordered has long since experienced his transfiguration with the Lord, and Paul Tibbets, who actually dropped the bomb died on All Saints Day, 10 years ago at the age of 92. Father says that it is the time that each of us have to transform the lives of untold numbers. Our actions, or inactions have far reaching implications.
