Father says there is no one more blind than someone who refuses to see. We can blind ourselves to think that our way is the only correct way. The 2 disciples on the road to Emmaus were blind and not able to see Jesus, because they only expected a political Messiah. Could not recognize a suffering servant as Messiah. Father says we need to recognize Jesus in the Eucharist, just as His Disciples on the road to Emmaus did in the breaking of the bread.
