Deacon told us of many of the signs and miracles of Jesus, including today's Gospel telling of the raising of Lazarus. He asks, "Can Jesus do it?" Lazarus was very dead, and rotting. So he asks why we go around thinking Jesus can't heal us. When we let the resurrection and light come into our life, the miracle of comfort enters our life. Even when we are rotting spiritually, and people around us can smell it, Jesus can give us spiritual and eternal life. No one is too difficult for Jesus to save.
