Mark your calendars for the Parish Advent Reconciliation Service on December 5 at 7 pm. Advent is a great time to renew our spirits as we prepare for the birth of Jesus Christ.

Time for another parish party! Our Advent Party will take place on Sunday, November 25 from 2 – 5 pm in the church hall. All parishioners are invited to come get ready for Advent. We will be making Advent wreaths, prayer chains, and other activities to enrich this year’s Advent in your home. Please join in the fun.

During the next two Sundays before the end of the Church year, the Gospels tell of Jesus’ Second Coming. Although the readings may be difficult for the younger children, the message is clear—Christ is the culmination of history. Children of all ages understand that events often change their world. The Gospel for this Sunday from Mark, chapter 13, is a reminder that Jesus has come to save us all and will come again to call the living and the dead to life forever with God.

Adults – want to see how much you know about being a Catholic? Our Confirmation prep includes discussing a list of 100 questions all Catholics should be able to answer. If you would like a copy for yourself, please see Kelly or contact the RE office. Some questions are easy and some make you think!
